The bounce rate is the percentage of visitors to your website who navigate away from the site after viewing only one page.
This number can be alarming, but keep in mind that many search engines including Google use bots to crawl websites and get information for search indexing. These bots can drive a bounce rate up quite a bit, appearing as if most of your website's traffic is getting bounced. This does not reflect the "true traffic" your website is getting.
When your bounce rate exceeds 70%, that is when you should assess your site content and consider reworking it to help visitors know they are in the right place. Consult your Anttix representative or SEO specialist to help decrease your bounce rate.
